The 54 villas of Bushland Place are co-located with the 91 bed Alkira Lodge Aged Care Facility and provide compact and comfortable accommodation in both 1 and 2 bedroom configuration.

The benefit of the co-location of these villas has proven to have relieved some of the stress for residents whose wife, husband or partner may have been admitted for full time care in the Aged Care Facility.

The residents have access to the services such as hair dressing, podiatry, library, 24/7 emergency call and minor nursing assistance offered in the Aged Care Facility and as the Alkira Lodge Aged Care Facility is redeveloped, specific dining and social activity areas will be set aside for the residents of the Villas and their friends.

The villa complex is serviced by a regular weekday public bus service to and from the Taree CBD.

  • Weekly service fee 30% of the single aged pension

Becoming a Resident

We've made taking the first step towards independent retirement living easier with a minimum deposit that suits even the most modest budget.

Considering Your Options

This deposit is an expression of interest that will hold the villa at the quoted price for six months allowing you to begin the process of selling your home and making all arrangements to ensure a smooth transition to your new home.

If for any reason during the six month period you decide not to proceed with the occupation of the villa you have chosen, the deposit will be fully refunded.

 

When Placing a Deposit

We will provide you with the following when the deposit has been received:

  • A receipt for the deposit
  • Our General Enquiry Document
  • Disclosure Statement
  • A sample Residence and Service Contract.
 

When Occupying a Villa

When you're ready to move into your new home:

  • You will sign our Residence and Service Contract
  • The licence fee based on the single aged Pension will commence (the percentage varying between villages)
  • We will complete a Condition Report with you.
