Single Room with Ensuite
Rooms are bright and airy with large windows and curtains, adjustable electric beds, built in wardrobes and shelving with lockable drawer, lockable bedside table, over bed table, nurse call system, television, telephone and internet connections, individual air conditioning, visitors chair.
Rooms share an ensuite with one other room, enabling access for lifting and other equipment as required. Ensuite can be accessed directly from room.
Maximum Price:
Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) - $420,000
Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) - $91.59
A combination of the RAD and DAP
An example of a combination payment based on 50% RAD and 50% DAP is $210,000 plus a DAP of $45.80 per day.
Refundable deposit retention – if you pay a lump sum, your provider keeps 2% of your lump sum per year. This amount is not refunded when you leave care. After 5 years in care, no further retention amounts will be deducted.
Daily accommodation payment (DAP) indexing – if you pay by DAP, this amount will increase due to indexation on 20 March and 20 September each year. Indexation does not apply to daily accommodation contributions (DAC) paid by residents eligible for government assistance with their accommodation costs.
